The interior was modern, industrial and designed to appeal to the new generation of students on campus

The monumental stair and signage helped draw shoppers up to the second floor

The bookstore was anchored with a monumental staircase and featured in-store shops such as Peet's Coffee & Tea, Papyrus, Nike, Jones & Mitchell, Russell Athletics, and Clinique, as well as a technology store selling Apple and an OfficeMax supply store

The checkout area was designed to facilitate easy checkout

The concrete floors and exposed structural elements gave the store a modern and hip look

Greetings and messages in different languages were designed to welcome students of all nationalities

MRD also designed a specialty graduation center wall where graduates could order rings, announcements and take care of all their graduation needs
